This weekend The RedBall Project begins it's nearly
month long stay in Chicago. The RedBall was created
by artist Kurt Perschke as a commission in St. Louis
in 2001. Since then, the project has bounced it's way
around the globe, wedging itself in the small corners
of Busan, Sydney, Barcelona, Portland and others.
The artist grew up in the Chicago area and wanted to
bring it here to see how the people of this city interact
