book arts

Japanese designer Katsumi Komagata started making children's books
in 1994 when he became a father. These incredible books beautifully
tell stories through die cuts and color combinations on each page.
The most interesting concept is I'm Gonna Be Born which
describes birth from a baby's perspective. Komagata also has a series
of tactile books for the visually impared and another of die cut cards for
children to interact with their parents. They are all almost too pretty
to put in a kid's hands. Learn more here.
